Usage data — quiz scores, exam progress, and flashcard activity stored locally on your device
Purchase data — subscription status managed via RevenueCat; we do not store payment card details

To verify your identity via OTP and provide access to the app
To manage your subscription and unlock premium content
To track your exam preparation progress within the app
To send important service updates (not marketing)

3. Data Storage and Security

Your progress data is stored locally on your device using AsyncStorage. Account data (phone number, name) is stored securely on our servers. We use industry-standard security practices to protect your data.

4. Third-Party Services

We use the following third-party services:

RevenueCat — subscription and in-app purchase management (Privacy Policy)
Twilio — OTP delivery via SMS (Privacy Policy)

5. Data Sharing

We do not sell, trade, or share your personal information with third parties except as described in Section 4 (service providers) or when required by law.

6. Data Retention

We retain your account data for as long as your account is active. You may request deletion of your account and associated data by contacting us.

7. Children's Privacy

This app is intended for adults (18+) preparing for the Basic Course in Biomedical Research. We do not knowingly collect information from children under 18.
